Instructor: Sean CroninCE Credit: 2 HoursThis course is a rapid-fire exploration of water in Colorado, providing background on Colorado’s unique water system and how it is regulated and administered. Instructor will share 20+ years of experience with water transactions and provide tips on better due diligence and how to avoid water transaction pitfalls.
Scheduled (subject to change slightly):8:15-8:30 a.m. Please arrive at Northern Water offices, 220 Water Ave. in Berthoud. Guest parking is available on the east and north side of our main administration building. Check in with the Chimney Hollow Communications Team – out front or in the main lobby. Load vehicles – Northern Water buses. No private vehicles are allowed.
8:45 a.m. Depart offices for Chimney Hollow overlook •The Chimney Hollow Reservoir overlook tour gives a full view of the valley from property on the Eastern ridge just above the main dam construction. This true overlook tour allows Project Engineers to provide insight on several components of the reservoir construction, including the main dam, coffer dam, quarry, concrete plant and more. •We suggest that all tour attendees wear long pants and closed toe shoes for safety while at the Overlook
9:15-10:45 a.m. Chimney Hollow overlook tour. Project Engineers and Communications Team will provide presentations and overview of several main components of the project. 10:45 a.m. Depart for Northern Water Berthoud offices
11:15 a.m. Arrive at offices, use restrooms 11:30a.m.-2:30 p.m. Lunch and classroom use in the Northern Water Board room.
