Description
Instructors: Lara Thomas, FACO’s Training & Network Specialist & Rebecca Samulski, Executive Director Fire Adapted Colorado CE: 4 Hours This training program provides REALTORS who work in Boulder County with essential information about wildfire mitigation—how to reduce the risk of homes igniting during wildfires. Because wildfires risk and wildfire mitigation are critical issue impacting both home buyers and sellers, BOLO REALTORS have been key supporters of Wildfire Partners since 2014. The program is a nationally recognized model that helps participants obtain and maintain insurance coverage if they perform mitigation and receive a Wildfire Partners Certificate. REALTORS who understand Wildfire Partners programs and mitigation best practices can help their clients avoid common obstacles facing properties in high wildfire risk areas. Participants in this training who pass the final test will be listed on the Wildfire Partners website as individuals who have completed this training program and are encouraged to use Wildfire Partners publications and resources in their outreach and marketing efforts. This training program targets REALTORS who work in western Boulder County, but it is open to all REALTORS working the county.
